After Tim Burton’s two excellent silver screen adaptations of the famous Batman comic book series, the two movies that followed turned out to be sad attempts to milk the cash cow. In 2005 director Christopher Nolan successfully restored the caped crusader’s dignity with Batman Begins, telling the story of how a man named Bruce Wayne developed into a crime-fighting Dark Knight.

My name is Metin Seven. I am a freelance designer and illustrator, 36 years old. When I’m not creating graphics I love to walk in a nearby forest and philosophize about life, death, the universe and such light-hearted subjects. Other hobbies include watching movies with my wife and listening to old Commodore chiptunes without my wife.

For many, many years now my father and I have been involved in a never-ending but enjoyable discussion about the origin and essence of the universe. My father believes in what he calls an “architect” who designed the complex and diverse structures of nature. My father comes from Eastern Turkey and I am proud of the fact that he managed to develop his views from an origin of orthodox religion to a relatively progressive blend between religion and science.
